The stupidity of men is a bad joke.

To kill in the name of religion is disrespectful.

To follow blindly in the name or religion is insulting.

It happened then, and we tell ourselves,

Those men knew no better and that history shan’t repeat.

But it is happening now and the clown is us.

We're so caught up with 'life' that we do not realise,

that we are no different from those men of the past.

Funny isn’t it,

We pride mankind with advancement and evolution,

But really, what evolution is there, if the mind does not evolve?

And to question it simply,

Do you think it possible for our mind to ever evolve?

Or is our state of being fated to remain stagnant throughout human history?

Why can’t we dream of a better future, a better present,

when it is as simple as understanding the need to respect another?

(Quite angry)

Weekend 2: Jakarta

Friday:

Went to Minus 2 after work in FX mall.
We planned to chill.
So much for that...DJ Milana paid a visit.
aaaand she stripped...and spinned topless....

right down to her g's!
and she's flexible :o
Hah Jakarta baby!!
but to give credits, she's from Ukraine.

Saturday:

Brightspot.

Tip: Hey if you're into this sort of artsy fartsy stuff and pretty awesome markets you should definitely plan your trip to coincide with this event. Worth a check.

Its a spacious club with 4 rooms of music.
Sorta like what 'Seven' was to me in Melbourne.

Sunday:

Did nothing coz I am so broke :( :( :(
But I bought DVDs!!!
For all my nights in from now on.
Tip: DVDs from Ambassador mall is apparently cheapest.
Rp 7,000 per dvd or Rp 70,000 for 11 DVDs.
roughly USD0.70 or about RM2.5
and good quality too!

Puncak

First touristy post from Jakarta!

Went to Puncak (ie Bogor)
Its 1.5 hours away from Jakarta w/out jam
We went there for the safari,
and guess what we found in the middle of the jungle.....
:)

P.s. Must watch the wild wild west show and the Globe of Death
