Perak

I was browsing through the newspaper this morning and I am now convinced that I MUST find a way to Perak's Kinta Valley and Gunung Rapat.

As if you wont feel and think the same after looking at these pictures. Its like a land and time forgotten.

hey if you need a tour guide. =p

i'm just joking. i'm just as lost as you are even though i go back every CNY. BUT, there is a temple you should visit if you do go. and it's not sam poh tong or perak tong.

my father's grand uncle actually dreamt of this place and he was told to relocate his buddhist association to this place. the temple is nothing to shout about, but behind the temple is a very very beautiful lotus flower garden.

The Pencil Rock in Tambun. It is now the gateway for an eco theme park called Lost World of Tambun (Sunway). Still a spectacular sight though.

Smokey said...

Yeah they did. Sadly they commercialized the hot springs in Tambun as well.
